GRUB

We are GRUB, a Delivery Box scheme, currently taking subscriptions in South Manchester and Salford.

If you or yours would benefit from a regular delivery of fresh, locally-sourced goods by lovely people who care about where food comes from and ends up, get in touch. We aim to be affordable, sustainable and accessible.

GRUB is a part of MCC (Manchester Creative Collective) operating out of St Wilfrid's Enterprise Centre in Hulme. We are active in our community and interested in food. We want to get people involved in growing their food, for fun and for the sake of the environment.

We are currently offering:

• Local Veg Box for £5.00 each: A selection of locally sourced veg for 2-3 people a week
• Bread for £3.00 each: A selected weekly organic spelt loaf helping support Uprising Bakery new community supported bread scheme price for large 800gs
• Herbie Pesto for £3.00 each: A locally grown herb pesto, choose from basil, coriander, mint, sage, and Parsley with Oil & Garlic, 220mls.
• Sweet Foraged Chutney for £2.50 each: Lovely forged and Allotment Chutneys, including Damson, Spicy Pumpkin, Boozy Apple, Sticky Red Onion, and Beetroot.
• Foraged Jams for £2.50 each: Jam from delicious locally foraged fruits: Homemade Plum, Strawberry, Gooseberry, Ginger, Blackberry Damson and Rhubarb. Seasonally selected Price per 170gs
• Honey for £2.50 each: Local Chorlton Meadow Honey completely un treated sweetness, price per 113gs
• Family Veg Box for £12.50 each: A larger family sized Veg box for 4-5 people weekly .
• Fruit Bag for £3.00 each: A lovely selection of british fruits when in season, please be aware we can not guarantee local fruit.
• Savoury Baked Box for £5.00 each: A Mix of Crumpets, English Breakfast Muffins, Soup Buns, Creamy Veg or Cheese & Onion Pie or Vegetarian Quiche. expect 6 small and 1 large item. (G&WF available)
• Sweet Baked Box for £5.00 each: Consists of Uprising Bakehouse finest, Muffins, Cookies, tray bakes, Whoopie Pies or Cupcakes. with Brownies, Cake of the day, please expect 6 small items and 1 large item (G&WF available)
• Cheese for £2.00 each: We have a selection 3 of the North West finest hard cheeses, Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire, Caerphilly Creamy Keverigg and Cheshire Appleby, price per 100gs
• 6 Eggs for £1.50 each: Six locally sourced, organic eggs from Hebden Bridge.
